And so, in 2007, in a bold move away from simply being a solo practitioner, Dr. Sankaran Naidoo established Gateway Dental Inc. in the heart of Umhlanga, KwaZulu Natal, conveniently situated behind Gateway Shopping Centre. Today Dr. Naidoo heads up a team of highly skilled professionals with a view to offering a fully comprehensive dental solution, for every stage of life under one roof. From pediatric to geriatric dental care, including cosmetic dentistry, Gateway Dental synergizes the skills of a passionate team with the latest technology to deliver an unsurpassed dental experience.

Being a group practice, we’re able to offer:
Open from Monday to Saturday, from 7:30am to 5:30pm, we’re able to assist our patients at a time that’s convenient to them, whether it’s in an emergency, or even before or after work.
With five dental practitioners onsite (and growing), not only are we able to be flexible with our time, but we’re also able to cross refer within the practice for specialized advice.
From basic hygiene services, such as teeth cleaning, to complex implant and cosmetic dentistry, we also pride ourselves on offering compassionate pediatric and geriatric dental care too.
Our practice is equipped with the latest technology and equipment to comprehensively and accurately diagnose and care for your dental health.
From computer-guided implant surgery to microscope dentistry, our best in class technology means we’re able to perform each treatment to the highest standard in absolute comfort to our patients.
Many of our dentists have specialized areas of interest, such as endodontics and cosmetic dentistry, and are able to offer their expert opinions when necessary. We also have a visiting Periodontist, specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease.
